Tagora It’s pantomime, but not as we know it. Hashtag Cindy, Tagora’s winter production this year, will be an all-singing, all-dancing multimedia experience: we shall need the very best actors, singers, musicians, dancers and technicians to make it happen so now is the time to throw your hat into the ring.
The story tells how #Cindy and her friend Fluffy Bunny make their way through an on-line world of sinister characters: her weird step-family and the dastardly Prince Charmant. Her friends (her father Frank, Buttons, her Fairy Godmother – but also her Fairy Grandmother) speed #Cindy to her final triumph.
It’s going to be a lot of fun to do.
#Cindy will be performed during the second and third weeks of December (see below) this year so it’s urgent to get started assembling a team of cast and crew. Once this is done, we shall make a start on rehearsals almost right away. There will be a programme of preliminary rehearsals during June and July, intensive work will start in September.
Auditions will take place on Tuesday 2 and Friday 7 June. If you’re interested but unable to make those dates, please mail Dianne Bartsch.
It would be very helpful if you sent Dianne the following information by 1 June:
- About you: your name, your mobile phone number and email address and indicate whether or not you have a Council of Europe badge.
- Please indicate – as far as you possibly can – dates on which you’re likely to be unable to attend rehearsal.
- Finally, please indicate which aspects of performance interest you most (you may specify more than one): actor, singer, dancer, musician (what instrument?), costume, lighting/technical/effects, stage management, front of house, hospitality, publicity.
