Tagora and the Council of Europe Amicale
Tagora is a section of the Amicale (or staff association) of the Council of Europe. Through the Amicale we get the right to use some of the Council’s services and premises – in particular the rehearsal room (also known as the Vedovato, for historical reasons) in the Palais de l’Europe.
Regular participants in Tagora’s activities, and certainly all those involved in our productions, are required to be members of the Amicale. The subscription is €30 for 12 months from the date of signing up. Members are entitled to take part in all the activities of the Amicale, and are covered by the Amicale’s insurance when taking part in such activities.
More information on the Amicale’s website
Membership of the Amicale is open to everyone. Council of Europe staff members (both active and retired) are in many cases members automatically; external members must actively subscribe, and be sponsored by two members.
More detailed information is available on the Amicale’s site. But to simplify things for Tagora participants, here is a direct link to the online subscription form. Just fill it in and quote the following as sponsors:
- Bridget O’Loughlin (bridget@tagora.eu)
- Evangelia Vratsida (lia@tagora.eu)
